Remember when we were allowed to have do-overs?
Weren't they magical when we were kids?
You know, if you didn't like the way things turned out on the --
on the baseball field, you just asked for a do-over,
and it was like the strikeout never happened.
Unfortunately, life is less accommodating.
Every moment we experience leaves a permanent print on our brains,
shaping how we perceive things and people in the future.
Who can we trust? When are we safe? And what are we capable of?
